The Ronald McDonald House says a warm "welcome" to the families of children receiving medical treatment in our community. To be near their children, parents and families must often endure lengthy commutes to a strange city, sleep in hospital waiting rooms, live on fast food or bear the expense of an impersonal hotel room. Our Ronald McDonald House offers a temporary home that can relieve the stress, financial hardship and loneliness that is often added to the trauma of illness.

Our House provides low-cost lodging with 10 warmly-furnished bedrooms and private baths, a beautiful kitchen where families can prepare their own meals, a large family room, sunroom, parlor, library, indoor and outdoor play areas, and laundry facilities. There are staff members and volunteers who understand and attend to the special needs of each guest family. Families from throughout the 55-county region can come to our House and draw support not only from their own family, but from other families that are going through the same ordeal. They share thoughts, questions, concerns, and experiences. Many lasting friendships have been made here at our Ronald McDonald House.
